We finished painting the dining room walls - a boring white - but it really brightened everything up. This was the affect we wanted as we will be putting in a laminate floor soon so didn't want the walls to be dark. We're not professional painters but we did a very good job - I think anyway. We have a little more work to do before it is completed - but 99.9% is done.
We bought a stationary bicycle a few weeks ago & I've been trying to get at least 30 minutes a day on it. Well, Fridays are not good days but I get in 30 minutes the rest of the time - usually. I am participating in the Washington State "Governor's Health Bowl" and can add 1 mile for each 10 minutes of vigorous exercise. Hopefully this will help me ride more miles. I would like to work up to 60 minutes a day - but finding an extra hour is very difficult.
My dh is riding some as well but he is so exhausted after working nights & trying to get a little sleep during the day - he has no energy for riding. But once he doesn't have to work any more, then he should be able to get an hour a day in with little problem. So should I as theoretically he'll be doing some cooking & laundry that I won't have to do any longer. We're counting the days!!
