We have a new addition to our family - Amanda's little one decided he wanted out a bit early. Amanda was in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks and finally the doctors gave in and let the baby come. She had a pretty long, slow labor but he was finally born on Friday, February 25th. His name is Wesley James, weighed 5 lbs 11 oz and was 19" long. He is still in the hospital at this writing; however, he is out of the NICU and in the room with Mom. He was pretty jaundiced but seems to be way better after the second round under the bili lights. He is still being fed by feeding tube as he doesn't stay awake long enough to get enough nourishment on his own. Please keep them all in your prayers. We are planning a trip to NH in April to see them all (we have 3 other grandchildren there that we haven't seen in nearly 2 years now).
Our other kids & grand-kids are doing well - some minor things happening but the kids are taking care of what needs to be taken care of...God bless them all! BTW, Wesley James is #15 for us and grand-kids! Amazing -- and we love each and every one of them!! The oldest grandchild, Ryan, will be turning 17 in June -- my how time does fly.

A bit of trivia...Wesley James was born on Karl's birthday! And Karl's first grandchild was born in November, 6 weeks early, Mason, and he is doing great!!

I have one grandkid and can hardly keep up with him...how do you do it?!?!
