Weather....or not...it's spring!!

The weather here has been anything but perfect. However, it definitely has been a typical spring in the Pacific Northwest - UNPREDICTABLE! We've had snow (blizzard mind you, not just a few flakes!), rain, sunny/warm, gropple/hail, t-storms, and absolutely everything in between. It's been interesting to say the least but seriously, not much fun - especially with my 30 minute commute each way to work!

My dh had his appointment with the lung specialist in Seattle a few weeks ago. His breathing test was about the same - but his doctor was pleased anyway. Keeping him steady is about the best we can hope for so I guess I'm thrilled too!! All is still going well with his retirement - he really enjoys being a home and spoiling me rotten. I love it too!

The Army son is enjoying being in the HETs (Heavy Equipment Transporters) very much. He told me last weekend that he'd been going out nightly on recovery missions. Ok, Mom wasn't real keen on that one but guess it comes with the territory. It was a busy week for him. I haven't seen him online this weekend yet but hopefully things have calmed down a bit for him. Thanks for keeping him in your prayers - we & he appreciates it.

The political race is making me crazy. I don't particularly care for any of the front runners in either party. All of them scare me to a certain degree and in different ways. And what can we believe? All media (newspapers, magazines, network news) seem to have a candidate that they are "unofficially" supporting - the reporting is so slanted I could scream. I haven't found a website that is truly unbiased either so I am still looking for somewhere to find objective data that can help me make my voting decision. Please let me know if you know of such a site.

God bless and I hope your spring is warmer and less white than ours. BTW, it is 6pm on Saturday and we have not gotten ANY snow at all - so far so good! Until the next time.
